I mostly don't use books. I look up the sign I want to use (at this age it needs to be something she's HIGHLY motivated about, like the cat!) and just show it to her. It was MONTHS before she signed back, but now I show her once and she can use it!! http://commtechlab.msu.edu/sites/aslweb/browser.htm
It is so awesome that you taught them both sign language. Now you have to pick a sign language name for Skye :) [hey you should have Carter & Skye talking to each other in sign language - that would be so cool]
Hey maybe I can bring Carter to NY so he can help me study ... He can read my bar review books ;)
Your kids ARE AMAZING!!! You and Paul are doing a great job! :)
Aww i love signing!! I wish I kept it up with Raye. by one she could sign like ten words and then when she started talking I got distracted and we kinda stopped. Then my sisters were taking sign in high school as a language course, and started showing her things again, which was nice. But I have started doing a few with Vada already, mostly "eat" and then I shove a boob in her face LOL
Michelle, the title could also be, What a Great Mom to Enrich her Childrens' Lives so they can Perform such Amazing Feats! But what else should we accept from the most amazing DIL and bestest son in the world. Of course, the grandchildren are stellar! Can't wait 'til next week. We miss you all so much!

OMG, that is so awesome. They are getting so big :(
The title of this post should be "And now, Let me Amaze you with My totally random Capitalizations!"
LMAO, ur right! I need to work on that!
Big claps for Skye and Carter. I wish I would have taught sign language to my kids when they were her age. It is such a fantastic idea.
Does Carter read to his baby sister? If he does I bet she just loves is.
You are a great mommy, Michelle!
Wow, that's some crazy signing!! What book do you use again? She knows a lot! And Carter is so sweet!

Most excellent Michelle! And, I'm impressed that Skye even performed on camera! Keep up the good work!

That is really great Michelle. If you keep it up maybe Leno will book them for a show. :)
Hope to see you all soon.
P.S. I am HIGHLY MOTIVATED about Princess Cupcake too. Maybe Skye can show me a thing or two.
